American Youth Soccer Organization Providing world class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives.

Great Soccer Starts Here!!

Programs

AYSO Region 1103 has a large number of Secondary Programs open to players of all ages, in addition to our primary recreational soccer program.  Some of these activities are only open to players who participate in Primary program soccer, and some are open to other players in the area, but may require an additional AYSO National Registration Fee in order to participate.

VIP Soccer is a program that pairs children with disabilities and mainstream players together in a program specifically designed to provide an opportunity to those players that may not be able to participate in our primary program soccer.  It also provides an excellent opportunity for some of our mainstream players to participate and foster meaningful relationships beneficial to both the VIP player and the mainstream player.

Our U05 (Under age 5) program is specifically designed to introduce team sports and soccer to 4 year olds, and to their parents.  Players and parents both participate under the direction of a master coach.

Our U19 Jamboree program allows an opportunity for some of our AYSO graduates to continue to play.  It also allows some of our U14 and U16 players the opportunity to participate in an additional game.

Our indoor soccer program in Amana and Victor will allow players to hone their skill during the off season.  Practicing soccer in a gym allows for any technical deficiencies to become more evident, and allows coaches to focus on those opportunities.  Players coming out of the indoor program are much more effective in the following spring because of the exposure they have had with indoor soccer.

The Select Team participates in games in the ISL division, and gives our most dedicated players an opportunity for additional instruction, and a higher level of competition.   It is designed to allow more flexibility with regard to practices, so that it is possible to fully participate in school athletics at the same time.  It is also designed to be more economically streamlined than traditional club programs.

We have several Outdoor and Indoor tournaments  that we participate in ...
-Soccer Slam is a 6v6 coed tournament in Amana, open to AYSO teams from Amana, Cedar Rapids, Center Point, and Dubuque
-Soccer Fest in Dubuque is a full sided tournament in Dubuque, also only open to Area AYSO players
-Sectional games in Libertyville Illinois is a full sided tournament open to AYSO player from Section 6 - Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan
-Iowa Games is a Non-AYSO tournament in Ames Iowa
-National Games is held Every two years and is open to AYSO Players from across the country
-Winter Slam is an indoor 3v3 tournament in Williamsburg - AYSO and area rec players only
-Indoor Iowa Games is an indoor 5v5 tournament in Dubuque
-Kick around the Clock is an indoor 3v3 tournament in Des Moines

The Region offers a youth referee certification program, as well as a youth assistant coaching program - where players can receive training and certification, and then apply their training during the season.

The Region also organizes several Road Trips as team building opportunities.  Trips often include such perks as reduced price seating or parking, opportunities for players to participate in pre-game activities, play infield at half time, or go to an autograph session after the game.  In the last few years, we have organized local trips to the University of Iowa Women's Games, as well as longer trips to Des Moines Menace Games, and even overnight trips to Chicago Fire Games.
