American Youth Soccer Organization Providing world class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives.

Great Soccer Starts Here!!

Programs

In addition to our Primary Soccer Program, AYSO Region 1103 has a large number of Secondary Programs open to players of all ages. Some of these activities are only open to players who participate in the Primary Program while others are open to those players in the area but may require additional fees to participate.

EPIC (Every Player In our Community) Soccer is a program that pairs children with disabilities. The program pairs players with players in the Primary Program together in a way that is specifically designed to provide an opportunity to those players that may not be able to participate in our Primary Program.  It also provides an excellent opportunity for some of our mainstream players to participate and foster meaningful relationships beneficial to both the EPIC player and the mainstream player.

Preschool Soccer Programs includes Playground (4U), Schoolyard (5U) Programs and the 6U Division.

19U Jamboree Program allows an opportunity for some of our AYSO graduates to continue to play.  It also allows some of our U14 and U16 players the opportunity to participate in an additional game.

Indoor Soccer  allows players to hone their foot skills & control during the off season.  Practicing soccer in a gym allows for any technical deficiencies to become more evident and allows coaches to focus on those opportunities.  Players coming out of the indoor program are much more effective in the following spring because of the exposure they have had with indoor soccer.

The Select Team participates in games in the ISL division, and gives our most dedicated players an opportunity for additional instruction, and a higher level of competition.   It is designed to allow more flexibility with regard to practices, so that it is possible to fully participate in school athletics at the same time.  It is also designed to be more economically streamlined than traditional club programs.

We have several Outdoor and Indoor tournaments that we participate in ...
-Soccer Slam is a 6v6 coed tournament, open to AYSO teams from Amana, Cedar Rapids, Center Point, and Dubuque
-Soccer Fest in Dubuque is a full sided tournament in Dubuque, also only open to Area AYSO players
-Sectional Games in Libertyville Illinois is a full sided tournament open to AYSO player from Section 6 - Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan
-Iowa Games is a Non-AYSO tournament in Ames, Iowa
-National Games is held Every two years and is open to AYSO Players from across the country
-Indoor Iowa Games is an indoor 5v5 tournament in Dubuque, Iowa
-Kick Around the Clock is an indoor 3v3 tournament in Grimes, Iowa

The Region offers a youth referee certification program, as well as a youth assistant coaching program - where players can receive training and certification and then apply their training during the season. These programs apply towards Silver Cord Volunteer recognition for High School Graduation.

The Region also organizes several Road Trips as team building opportunities.  Trips often include such perks as reduced price seating or parking, opportunities for players to participate in pre-game activities, play infield at half time, or go to an autograph session after the game.  In the last few years, we have organized local trips to the University of Iowa Women's Games, as well as longer trips to Des Moines Menace Games, and even overnight trips to Chicago Fire Games.
